RNLI Blyth’s inshore lifeboat with three volunteer crew on-board was launched to reports of two persons drifting out to sea on an inflatable just off Seaton Sluice.

As the the stations D Class inshore lifeboat was making its way out of the river Blyth information was received that the two persons had made their own way back to shore and were safe and well, the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station.
