Blyth Lifeboat Station is to have a new building to house the lifeboat and provide facilities for essential safety equipment and crew training.

The new building with the increased capacity for essential crew training and friendship will enable more volunteers for crew to be recruited to man the RNLI Lifeboat to save lives at Sea.

In addition to improved crew facilities, the new Lifeboat Station building with modern facilities will provide a visitor observation area and a souvenir shop.

The RNLI Blyth Station Operations Team look forward to recruiting more volunteers to man the lifeboat and also for the committee to have more helpers to assist with the fund raising. Anyone interested in joining the RNLI Blyth Lifeboat Team please contact John Scott on 07802 940 663 or e-mail
