As well as providing a 24 hour rescue service around the coastline of the UK & ROI the RNLI also works to promote sea & beach safety.

Blyth Lifeboat station is one of many RNLI Lifeboat stations offering the RNLI’s “sea check” service to anyone who currently goes to or intends to go to sea. These visits are free of charge and are designed to give you friendly and impartial advise on safety, communications and distress equipment tailored specificaly for your vessel.
